The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has reintroduced the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025. This initiative aims to distribute free laptops to high-achieving and deserving students across Punjab to promote digital learning, academic excellence, and technological empowerment.
Purpose of the Scheme
The scheme’s core objective is to:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a laptop under the scheme, students must meet the following conditions:
- Punjab Domicile: Must belong to any district of Punjab.
- Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in the 1st or 2nd semester of a Bachelor’s degree program at a public sector university or college.
- Academic Performance:
- At least 65% marks in Intermediate (FSc/FA or equivalent) for general students.
- At least 80% marks for students in medical and dental programs.
- Previous Beneficiaries: Students who have previously received a laptop through any government program are not eligible.
- Institution Type: Only students from public sector institutions are eligible.
Laptop Specifications
Each selected student will receive a 13th Generation Intel Core i7 laptop, equipped to handle high-end academic, research, and professional applications.
Laptop Distribution Breakdown
A total of 110,000 laptops will be distributed across the following categories:
- University Students: 20,000
- College Students: 14,000
- Technical & Agricultural Students: 4,000
- Medical & Dental Students: 2,000
Additionally, 32% of the total laptops are reserved for students from South Punjab, ensuring fair regional representation.
